Carroll County General Sessions Report

The following cases were bound over to the Grand Jury last week in Carroll County General Sessions Court:

•James Eugene Spranger, Highland Drive, McKenzie, bound over on  aggravated assault, possession of a handgun while under the influence, simple possession

•Shaun Allen Uhrick, Melton Road, Camden, bound over on charge of evading arrest, meth-manufacturing, delivery, sale, or possession with intent; reckless driving, unlawful removal/altering registration, resisting arrest or stop; violation of financial responsibility; driving unregistered vehicle; driver failed to exercise due care, speeding.

The following cases resulted in a plea or finding of guilty:

•John D. Forrest, guilty, vandalism, $150 restitution to the Sheriff’s Department, unsupervised probation for 11/29; dismissed charges of failure to immediately notify of an accident; leaving the scene of accident; failure to carry certification; violation of financial responsibility; failure to appear.

•Paul Kennedy, Jr., Davis Road, Camden, guilty, DUI-first offense, $350 fine, 48 hours jail, loss of license of one year; dismissed, violation of implied consent, driving while revoked.

•David Myles, Beasley Street, Huntingdon, guilty, domestic assault, no violent contact with victim, unsupervised probation for 11/29, complete anger management.

•Michael Tucker, Hawkins Lane, Huntingdon, guilty, disorderly conduct, $50 fine; dismissed, public intoxication.

•Amber Warren, Highway 70, Camden, guilty, false report to officer, 10 days jail, 11/19 supervised probation.

•Joshua T. Bennett, Armory, Huntingdon, dismissed, probation violation.

•Samantha Cary, Ivy Lane, Huntingdon, dismissed, worthless check.

•Jesica Marie Lawrence, dismissed, worthless check.

•Markia Patrick, Ross Avenue, Dyersburg, dismissed, theft of merchandise.

•Tammy Phipps, Seminary Street, Hollow Rock, dismissed, probation violation.

•Steven Pinkston, Lexington, Bruceton, dismissed, violation of order of protection/restraining order, vandalism.

•Michael Wayne Shackleford, Pleasant Hill, Hollow Rock, dismissed, probation violation.

•Herbert Allen Tilton, Seminary Street, Hollow Rock, dismissed, domestic assault.
