Carroll County General Sessions

The following cases were bound over to the Grand Jury last week in Carroll County General Sessions Court:

•Bruce Athey, Paducah, Kentucky, bound over on theft of property and burglary.

•Danny Ray Gant, Pate Road, Huntingdon, bound over on theft and burglary.

•William A. Hollowell, Hawkins Lane, Huntingdon, bound over on charge of DUI – second offense and open container; dismissed charges of driving unregistered vehicle, driving while revoked, driving on right; guilty, violation of implied consent.

The following cases resulted in a guilty plea or conviction:

•Scottie Dale Campbell, Cherry Street, Milan, guilty, driving while revoked, dismissed, driving unregistered vehicle, financial responsibility,.

•Neal Sylvester Capps, Jr., Wren Avenue, Camden, guilty, reckless driving by intoxicant, $350 fine, 48 hours jail, dismissed, speeding and implied consent.

•David Guffey, Beech Lake Campground Road, Lexington, guilty, failure to appear, restitution of $225.57 to retail store, supervised probation 11/29; dismissed, theft of merchandise.

•Jonathan P. Hill, Highway 70, Cedar Grove, guilty, probation violation, 90 days in jail, supervised probation for 8/29; dismissed, unlawful drug paraphernalia, meth-manufacture, deliver, sale, or possession, failure to appear.

•Daniel S. Johnsonius, Tennessee Street, McKenzie, guilty, probation violation, 90 days in jail, probation extended six months; dismissed, failure to appear, driving while revoked, violation of financial responsibility, failure to obey traffic control device.

•Travis B. Nunn, Highway 79 Lane, Atwood, guilty, violation of protective order, probation violation, 4 months in jail, no contact with victim, $140 restitution to victim; dismissed, domestic assault.

•Nicholas Simmons, High Street, Huntingdon, guilty, probation violation, probation revoked; dismissed, disorderly conduct, burglary, theft.

•Jerry C. Smith, Rolling Meadows, Milan, guilty, DUI-first offense, $600 fine, 10 days in jail, not to drive for one year, must attend substance abuse program for at least 90 days; dismissed, violation of implied consent.

•Kristopher Stenberg, Holmes Street, Trezevant, guilty, assault, no contact with victim, supervised probation for 23 months, 28 days; dismissed, aggravated burglary.

•Jarrid Wayne Sterling, Adell Street, Hollow Rock, guilty, meth-possession or exchange, $750 fine, two months in jail, unsupervised probation for 9 months, 29 days; dismissed, driving while revoked.

•Dion Teague, Elm Street, McKenzie, guilty resist stop, arrest or search, guilty, assault, four months jail, supervised probation 13 months, 29 days; dismissed, prohibited weapon, criminal trespass.

•Jimmy Ray Smothers, West Paris Street, Huntingdon, dismissed, probation violation.
