Carroll County General Sessions

The following cases were bound over to the Grand Jury last week in Carroll County General Sessions Court:

•Dallas B. Baker, Thompson Road, Huntingdon, bound over on a charge of violation of order of protection; dismissed was a charge of failure to appear.

•Blake Garner, Hopewell Road, Lavinia, bound over on charges of aggravated burglary and theft of property.

•Erin Elizabeth Lawrence, Voss Lane, Huntingdon,, bound over on charges of schedule I drugs-manufacture, deliver, sell, or possess; possession of drug paraphernalia, improper use of vehicle registration.

•Anthony McBride, Mount Tabor Road, Whiteville, bound over on charges of evading arrest, driving while suspended.

•Formica Milliken, Hamilton Street, McKenzie, bound over on DUI-second offense, implied consent.

•Travis Nunn, Highway 79 Lane, Atwood, bound over on domestic assault.

The following resulted in a guilty verdict or plea:

•Vickie Boyd, Main Street, Hollow Rock, guilty, resisting stop, arrest, or search, 29 days jail, no contact with victim, supervised probation for five months; dismissed, disorderly conduct.

•Timothy Frank Darda, Humboldt-Gibson Road, Humboldt, guilty, license to be carried, $50 fine; guilty, driver failed to exercise due care; dismissed, violation of financial responsibility.

•Brandi Hill, Florida Court, McKenzie, guilty, possession of drug paraphernalia, $50 fine.

•Marcus Montrel Jackson, Hodges Street, Memphis, guilty, driver’s license to be carried, unsupervised probation for 30 days.

•Kyle W. Martin, Miller Road, Huntingdon, guilty, evading arrest, 120 days in jail, supervised probation for 19 months, 29 days; guilty, simple possession, $250 fine; dismissed, simple possession.

•Christopher Brian Page, Oak Street, McKenzie, guilty, domestic assault, unsupervised probation.

•Terry Scott, Fields Street, McKenzie, guilty, assault-bodily injury, unsupervised probation, dismissed, failure to appear, dismissed, driving while revoked.

•Billy Floyd Toler, Jr., Carlton Street, Gleason, guilty, possession of drug paraphernalia, unsupervised probation.

•Alex Travelstead, Old State Route 22, McKenzie, guilty, evading arrest, six months in jail, supervised probation; dismissed, driving while suspended; dismissed, failure to appear.

•Justin Ray Gateley, Highway 70, Cedar Grove, dismissed, violation of order of protection.

•April Nichole Sykes, Oak Street, McKenzie, dismissed, domestic assault.

•Destiny Williams, Highway 70, Cedar Grove, dismissed, contributing to dependency, neglect.

The following cases were adjudicated through pre-trial diversion:

•Charity Lea Bratton, Kencindot, McKenzie, public intoxication, alcohol and drug evaluation, unsupervised probation for six months.

•Christopher Michael Norton, Elm Street, McKenzie, pre-trial diversion on allowing dog to run at large, restitution to victim of $181,50.
