Carroll County General Sessions

The following case was bound over to the Grand Jury last week in Carroll County General Sessions Court:

•Charles Edward Bright, 112 Winchester Street, McKenzie, was bound over to the Grand Jury of the Carroll County Circuit Court. He is charged with violation of order of protection/restraining order, aggravated assault, theft of merchandise, resisting stop/arrest/search, and public intoxication.

The following cases resulted in a guilty plea or finding:

•Kelsie Wayde Jablonski, Highway 114, Buena Vista, guilty plea to a lesser offense of reckless endangerment, 10 days jail, $350 fine, 11/19 supervised probation; dismissed charge of implied consent.

•Stephen R. Milton, Enterprise Street, Bruceton, guilty of a lesser charge of joyriding, unauthorized use of vehicle; $500 restitution to victim, no contact with victim, supervised probation for nine months, 29 days.

•James Dewayne Rogers, Rogers Lane, Bruceton, guilty, assault-bodily injury, 30 days jail, supervised probation for 10/29. Dismissed charges of disorderly conduct, resisting stop, arrest or search.

•Williams Robert Weaver, Jr., Mebane Cemetery Road, Huntingdon, guilty, DUI-first offense, 75 days in jail, not to drive for one year, eight months, 25 days supervised probation; guilty, possession of meth-possess or casual exchange, $750 fine; dismissed, contraband in penal facility, simple possession, driving while revoked, violation of registration, violation of financial responsibility, violation of drug paraphernalia.

The following cases were adjudicated through pre-trial diversion:

•Thomas Dale Baccus, Browning Road, Milan, pre-trial diversion of aggravated criminal trespass, 30 days in jail, no contact with victim, supervised probation for 10/29.

•Kandis Eneix, Terry Lane, Paris, pre-trial diversion, shoplifting, no contact with retail store, 11/29 unsupervised probation.

•Claire H. Kisling, New Valley Road, Gleason, pre-trial diversion, disorderly conduct, no contact with victim. Dismissed charge of assault-bodily injury.

The following cases were dismissed:

•Casi Cook, North Street, Hollow Rock, dismissed, driving while suspended, speeding.

•Jason W. Creasy, Stonewall Street, dismissed, failure to appear.

•Ashton Drake Damesworth, Diamond Drive, McKenzie, dismissed, driving while suspended.

•Stephen R. Milton, Enterprise Street, Bruceton, dismissed, domestic assault.

•Jennifer Lynn Stroud, Michael Lane, Huntingdon, dismissed, burglary.

•William Robert Weaver, Jr., Mebane Cemetery Lane, Huntingdon, dismissed, failure to appear, probation violation, driver failed to exercise due care.
