Carroll County Farm Bureau receives two prestigious awards

TWO AWARDS – Jacob Malone, Agency Manager of the Carroll County Farm Bureau Office in Huntingdon shows the two prestigious awards the agency received recently. Malone received an award for being the number one insurance agent of the year. The Huntingdon office was honored as the number two office in the state.

Carroll County Farm Bureau Insurance in Huntingdon has recently been awarded the number two office in the state of Tennessee. This award is based on a wide variety of factors such as new business growth, life insurance sales, loss ratio, etc. There are 205 offices statewide. 

Another award received, was number one insurance agent of the year to Jacob Malone, Agency Manager of the Huntingdon office. A total of 494 agents compete for this prestigious award every year, which is awarded based on several factors related to new sales. Jacob graduated from Union University in 2009 and has been a Farm Bureau insurance agent in Huntingdon since 2010. He has served as the agency manager since 2017. He resides in Carroll County with his wife and two children. These two awards were presented at the annual Tennessee Farm Bureau Insurance Agent’s Conference July 28-29,2022 held in Franklin.

 The Carroll County Farm Bureau Board of Directors has also purchased land on High Street where they will construct a new building within the next few years. 

“We are very excited about the Carroll County Board of directors purchasing a lot for a new building a few months ago. I am looking forward to working with our President Glenn Tippitt and the other board members on the new building,” said Malone. A new building will be a great benefit to our board of directors, our insurance company and our members.” 

Carroll County currently has 4,802 Farm Bureau member families and the Tennessee Farm Bureau has more than 680,000 statewide. Farm Bureau Insurance offers automobile, home, commercial, life, and health insurance.
