UT Extension hosting “Take Charge of Your Diabetes” Workshop
The UT Extension will be hosting a “Take Charge of Your Diabetes” workshop each Tuesday May 4 – June 8 from 10:00 – 11:30 via zoom. This is a six-week FREE evidence-based program that helps individuals take day-to-day responsibility for their diabetes care. Participants gain skills necessary to self-manage their diabetes and work effectively with their healthcare professionals. Carroll County Chamber of Commerce National Day of Prayer
The 70th Annual National Day of Prayer, May 6, will have a profound significance for our country. The theme for 2021 is Lord Pour Out Your Love, Life, and Liberty, emphasizing the need for individuals, corporately and individually, to return to the God of our Fathers in reverence for his Holy name. We have chosen our theme from 2 Corinthians 3:17, where it says, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
We invite you to join us at the Carroll County Airport on Thursday, May 6, at 8 am, as we pray for our Nation, our State, our County and our Neighbors. Coffee and Donuts will be available for those who attend.
