Carroll County Chamber Food Booth
The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce slaw fair burgers are back again this year at the Carroll County Fair, September 19-24.
Hours of operation for the Chamber food booth are:
Mon., Sept. 19 – Dinner Only – 5:30 p.m. – end of last pageant
Tue., Sept. 20 – Dinner Only – 5:30 p.m. – end of last pageant
Wed., Sept. 21 – Lunch Only – 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
Thur., Sept. 22 – Lunch – 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.; Dinner – 5:30 p.m. – end of last pageant
Fri., Sept. 23 – Lunch Only – 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
Sat., Sept. – Dinner Only – 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Yes, our famous slaw will be back again this year. The recipe we use for slaw has been served for approximately 52 years at the Carroll County Fair!
We hope to see you at the fair. To-go orders can be placed for lunch on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday by calling 731-693-2649.
Orders will need to be placed 24 hours in advance. Huntingdon Heritage Festival will take place Saturday, September 24 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Friends of the Carroll County Library News
The Friends of the Carroll County Library will be at the Heritage Festival on the Court Square on Saturday, September 24. They will be selling books for $5 a bag, and there will also be baked goods for sale.
September is also National Library Card Month! Everyone can get a free library card at the Carroll County Library.
