Bruceton seeking town clerk

The town of Bruceton is advertising for applicants for the position of full-time city clerk.

Dawn Ervin is leaving after two and a half years of working for the town.

She sells children’s clothing on a part-time basis. Her last day was Thursday.

Town Recorder Annie Hand has returned to work after having surgery. Holly Watts, who has been a clerk for the town for 27 years, works part-time.

Hand says there are four applicants so far. The successful applicant won’t be announced for another week or two.
