NEW NUCLEAR SYSTEM – BMH-Carroll County has installed a new nuclear system, the GE Discovery NM830. Nuclear Medicine’s ability to reveal physiologic and metabolic change gives you a unique tool for diagnosing and treating patients. With a focus on patient comfort, the NM 830 boasts the latest advancements in nuclear technology. These technological updates provide reduced scan times and a reduction in the radiation dose. Enhancements of this system deliver greater image sensitivity, image resolution, and overall image quality. With the addition of this new nuclear system BMH-Carroll County is pleased to continue the growth of its radiology suite in the continued effort to provide the most exceptional care to patients of the area.
