Billy J. Phillips

Billy Julian Phillips, 70, of Parsons, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25th, at his home. Funeral Service were held at Reed’s Chapel in Decaturville, on Friday, Nov. 27, with Chris Warren officiating. Burial followed in Bible Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Billy had worked for Profile Metals. He was a 1970 graduate of Huntingdon High School and had been an avid Huntingdon Mustang fan all his life, once receiving the Fan of the Year award.  Billy was a devoted Christian, he loved the Lord, he loved gospel music, the outdoors, and especially rabbit hunting. Billy and his wife Cathie attended Trinity Assembly of God until his health failed and he couldn’t attend.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Phillips; his mother, Viola Boswell; a brother, Jerry; and his first wife, Audrey Phillips.
He is survived by his wife, Cathie Colwick Phillips of Parsons; two sons, Keith Phillips of Parsons, Michael (Julie) Phillips of Huntingdon; two sisters, Betty (Dennis) Madison of MO, and Ruby (John) Bolt of AR. He is also survived by 2 Grandchildren; Kaitlen & Sammy Phillips
