Billy Grizzle

Billy (Bill) Grizzle, 83, of Huntingdon, passed away on Wednesday, July 28th. A memorial will be held at a later date.
He was born on April 8th, 1938, in Nashville. He had a long career in the automobile industry, He was the general manger of Crown Ford in Nashville for many years before becoming the Dealer and owner of Bill Grizzle Ford, Lincoln Mercury in Dickson. He moved to Huntingdon to continue his career until retirement for health reasons. Bill loved his wife, Barbara of 50 years, his family and his dog George, along with his cats. He rescued many cats and dogs in his lifetime. He was known for his smile, quick wit, and kindness to others. His family loved him dearly. He was a wonderful husband and father. He will be missed by his family and friends.He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Bessie Grizzle; and sister, Bobbie Jean Loftin.He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Grizzle; daughter, Dawn (Jeff) Robinson; daughter Kay White; son, Tom (Laura) Grizzle; granddaughter, Jennifer (Santiago) Gonzalez; grandsons, Jake (Madeline) White, Sam Grizzle, Ben Grizzle; great grandson, Camden Newbold; great granddaughters, Mckaley Newbold and Kristen Newbold; sister, Cindy (Tommy) Medlin; brother-in-Law, R.E. Loftin; and nieces and nephews.Bill fought a vigilant fight with both Alzheimer’s and Cancer. He continues his fight against these diseases with the donation of his earthly body to science for research. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and techs of Baptist Memorial Hospital and Hospice care of Huntingdon, for their loving care of Bill and his family.
