Nine ladies met in the home of Mary and Pennye Mays for their monthly meeting on April 8, 2021. Our president, Pennye Mays, opened with a devotion using a poem entitiled, ” After the Winter, God sends the Spring”. We all read the Club Creed in unison. The roll call was answered with, your favorite outdoor activity. The minutes were read by Danita Laman, reporter, for the March meeting. A motion was made to accept the minutes as read by Mary Mays and a secong by Sue Smith. The motion carried. The treasurer report was not given as it remains the same.
In old business: keep bringing a can of soup to each meeting. If you forgot just bring two the next time. Continue collecting items to put on the fidgiet mats.
New business: A workshop to make the fidgit mats was set for May 15th, a Saturday, at 10:00.
The meeting was adjourned. Everyone had a socially good time.
