Hosted by the Carroll Co. Humane Society, all-you-can-eat soup with a drink and dessert, 4-7 p.m.; bingo with a $100 grand prize, additional concessions available. At the CB&T bank building in Huntingdon, on West Main behind the bank.  Enter a crock pot of soup for voting, prize going to the winner. Donations of desserts, crackers and breads are appreciated. The Shepherd’s Table

The community kitchen serves meals on the third Tuesday of the month at First Presbyterian Church, 19835 E. Main St. Meals are served restaurant style with drive through available after 6pm. Flag Sales

American Legion sells 3’x5’ flags, flag poles that turn with the wind, and grave marker flags as a part of fundraising efforts. American Legion can also take American Flags that are in poor condition to properly retire them. For info: 731-986-9456 or 731-986-1346.

Prayer on the Square

Veterans Honor Guard

Veterans Honor Guard of Parkers Crossroads is seeking new members. Meetings and training: Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. at 2150 Wildersville Rd. in Wildersville. Any honorably discharged veteran may stop by to speak to members, ask questions, or offer suggestions. Ceremonies, programs, and presentations are given on a volunteer basis. Carroll County Adult Education Classes Set

Huntingdon location: Adult Education Building, 14155 Paris St. Office hours: Mon/Tues/Thu, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Classes offered for one-on-one instruction on Mondays from 1-4 p.m. Classes also offered Thursdays from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. For more info: 731-364-5481. It’s never too late to learn!

Carroll County Senior Choir

Attention Senior Citizens: The Carroll County Senior Choir is looking for new members. If you enjoy singing and bringing joy to others, please consider joining. The choir sings Mondays at one of the retirement homes in Carroll County. Call 986-1985 if interested.
