Annis May (Cox) Blankenship

1920-2019

Mrs. Annis May (Cox) Blankenship, 98, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Atkins officiating the service. Interment followed in the Clark Cemetery.

Pallbearers who served were Will Radford, Don Mullins, Jason Sides, Tim Smith, Nathan Smith and Ramiro Iniguez.

Mrs. Blankenship was born on June 17, 1920 in Middleton, Tennessee, to the late Neal Cox and Annie Sparks Cox. She was a homemaker, did seamstress work for several years and was a lifelong Methodist. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Royal “R.A” Blankenship, a daughter, Lucy Mullins, a son. James K. Sides, two brothers, Alex Cox, Joe Neal Cox, and two sisters, Evie Elizabeth Bryant, Freddie Cox.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Radford (Robert Gus) of Huntingdon, six grandchildren, Deborah Sides, Jason Sides, Elizabeth Radford, Will Radford, Angie Smith, Don Mullins. She also leaves ten great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
