Anna Claire Patel chosen as Miss McKenzie

A McKenzie High School Junior was crowned Miss McKenzie in a Saturday beauty revue sponsored by the high school band.

Anna Claire Patel, 17, daughter of Michael Patel and James and Mitzi Trevathan,was among the six beauties seeking the crown. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. She was attired in a gold studded dress in an off the shoulder style with a side slit.

She was crowned by the 2021 Miss McKenzie, Haley Brasfield, who also served as the master of ceremonies.

She is a member of the high school track and soccer teams.

She says she wants to become a dentist and businesswoman in the future.

Other members of the royalty include first maid, Brett Toombs; second maid, Madison Gilbert; third maid, Lily Sumrok and fourth maid, Kaida Walton.

Brett, a 16-year-old sophomore, is the daughter of Casey and Johnna Toombs. She has dark blond hair and green eyes. She was attired in a black long sleeved dress that featured a side slit.

She enjoys cheerleading and church activities.

After graduation she plans on attending a four year university and pursue a career in social media marketing.

Madison is a 17-year-old junior who plans on becoming a dentist. She is the daughter of Emily Daily. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was attired in a blue dress with full tiers in the skirt with a v neck with an off the shoulder look.

She enjoys playing basketball and hanging out with friends.

Lily is a 17-year-old junior and is the daughter of Natalie Sumrok. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She wore an off-white dress with silver highlights that was sleeveless with a v neckline.

Kaida, who is a 15-year-old sophomore, is the daughter of Kathie Rogers. She has brown hair and blue eyes.

She is a cheerleader and FFA member and enjoys running track.

Her navy sequined dress featured a silt side. Spaghetti straps cross-crossed the back of the dress to form a unique design.

In the future she plans to study marine biology.

Other pageants held during the afternoon and evening ere Mini Miss McKenzie, Little Mister and Miss McKenzie, Junior Miss McKenzie, and Teen Miss McKenzie.
