AmeriCorps student assist NRCS

 The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has recently welcomed Emily Hudgins, an AmeriCorps Student worker, to assist them in Carroll County. 

Emily is originally from Paris and will be assisting the Huntingdon Field Office throughout the summer and early fall. Emily is attending University of Tennessee at Martin, where she is a dual majoring in Chemistry and Plant Soil Science with plans of graduating in 2023. 

This is Emily’s first experience serving for AmeriCorps with NRCS. She hopes to gain experience that will guide her towards a career in agriculture. Emily is eager to assist the residents of Carroll County and while learning firsthand what opportunities the Natural Resources Conservation Service provides.
