While the 2020 high school football season has been hit and miss so far with some cancellations and rescheduling due to both the pandemic and the weather, all the regularly scheduled games were still on for Friday, Sept. 4 as of press time Monday.

The Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Tigers will be hosting the Huntingdon Mustangs for a regional contest with game time at 7 p.m.

The Tigers will be going in with one loss after falling to Greenfield Thursday night and cancelling their first game against the West Carroll War Eagles.

The Mustangs stand at 1-1 after a week one loss to the McKenzie Rebels and a win over Waverly Saturday afternoon.

The Rebels will be hosting Trenton-Peabody Friday night starting at 7:30 p.m.

The Rebels kicked off the season with a win over Huntingdon, but had to take last week off after West Carroll backed out of the scheduled contest due to COVID-19 concerns.

The War Eagles are slated to travel to Humboldt Friday night with game time at 7:30 p.m.

West Carroll suffered a week one loss to Fayette Academy after substituting the Vikings for the Tigers before cancelling last week’s scheduled trip to McKenzie.
