Brother Blane Fields takes eighth place
Seth Fields of Huntingdon took first place in the 87th World Duck Calling Contest in Stuttgart, Arkansas recently where 52 qualified competitors went head to head for the title.
Seth’s younger brother Blane Fields also competed in the men’s World contest for the first time this year and took eighth runner-up.
This is the first time in the contest’s history that anyone is aware of that two brothers were in the top 10 in the World contest.
Mike McLemore of Huntingdon won the World championship three times and Steve Barnett of Huntingdon placed in the top five in the World competition once. He won Tennessee State twice and the Grand American contest three times.
Seth was surrounded by his proud family who attended the special event.
They included his mother and father Jason and Lisa Fields, his wife and son, Julie and Jed Fields; his sister and brother-in-law, Morgan and Joseph Morrissett.
