License Violation
•Daniel Jackson McAlexander, 38, of Bradford was cited for driving on a suspended license (second offense) during a Feb. 9 traffic stop in Huntingdon.
Officer Brad Allen reported that he pulled over a motorcycle driven by McAlexander on Veterans Drive North because Allen had prior knowledge that McAlexander’s license was suspended. A computer check confirmed the suspended status.

Theft
•Misha Dobbs, 41, of Huntingdon was cited for theft under $1,000 on Feb. 9 for allegedly taking items from Walmart in Huntingdon.
According to the report by Officer Richard Crossno, he went to Walmart and spoke with security personnel, who advised him that on a previous date Dobbs had taken several food items priced together at $18.17 from the store without paying for them by apparently not scanning them in the self-checkout area. Crossno spoke with Dobbs, who denied taking the items. Store security, however, produced video footage of Dobbs, along with the receipt for the items Dobbs did pay for, showing that Dobbs had left the store with items she did not pay for.

Drug Charges
•Laquintay Bernard Whisnant (age not provided) of North Carolina was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and David Angelo Ramirez, 30, of South Carolina was charged with speeding, expired tags, and possession of methamphetamine during a Feb. 1 traffic stop in Huntingdon.
According to the report by Officer Carlton Cupples, he pulled over a 2020 white Chevrolet driven by Ramirez with Whisnant as a passenger after clocking the vehicle at 49 mph in a 30 mph zone on West Main Street. While approaching the vehicle, Cupples detected the odor of marijuana, and when asked if there were any drugs in the vehicle, Ramirez and Whisnant said there was a small amount of marijuana. During a search of the vehicle after backup had arrived, officers found two small bags of marijuana, a glass pipe with meth residue, and a marijuana grinder.

Aggravated Burglary
•Roger L. Prater, 41, of Huntingdon was recently charged with aggravated burglary and theft over $10,000 for allegedly breaking into and stealing items from a Huntingdon residence.
According to the report by Officer Carlton Cupples, Dawn Robinson contacted the HPD on Feb. 2 to report a burglary at her home on Darnall Lane. Robinson told officers that approximately 69 pieces of jewelry had been taken from her bedroom and walk-in closet. During their investigation, officers determined that the burglar probably entered the residence through a basement “doggy door.” On Feb. 5, Robinson’s husband went to check with a local jewelry store and found that four items belonging to his wife had been sold to the business. The store owner identified Prater as the person who sold the items. Prater was later picked up by officers in McKenzie and arrested.

Drug Possession
•Alyssa Carol Hollingsworth, 27, was charged with simple possession/casual exchange and drug paraphernalia during a Jan. 29 traffic stop in Huntingdon.
Officer Joseph Hedge reported that he pulled over a vehicle driven by Hollingsworth after observing her driving in a reckless manner on East Main Street. As Hedge was speaking with Hollingsworth, he detected the odor of marijuana, and when asked about it, she handed Hedge a package containing a small amount of marijuana. Hedge found more marijuana while searching the vehicle, as well as digital scales and “blunt” rolling packs.

License, Other Violations
•Kristina Anne Marie Townsend, 32, of Holladay was cited for driving on a suspended license, misuse of registration, and violation of financial responsibility during a Feb. 2 traffic stop in Huntingdon.
Officer Labe Ezell reported that he pulled over a gray Isuzu pickup truck driven by Townsend on Buena Vista Road because the truck’s muffler was dragging on the roadway. A computer check of the vehicle’s tag number came back for a BMW. Townsend said the truck belonged to her ex-boyfriend. A computer check also showed that Townsend’s driver’s license was suspended.

Drugs, License Violation
•Dallas B. Kennedy, 21, of Stanton was charged with drug possession, drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license on Jan. 21 in Huntingdon.
According to the report by Officer Joseph Hedge, he went to Walmart after receiving a call from store security personnel, who advised Hedge that Kennedy had switched out a ticket on an item. While speaking with Hedge, Kennedy told the officer that he had driven to the store, and Hedge had prior knowledge that Kennedy’s license was suspended. After getting Kennedy’s consent to search his vehicle, Hedge found a bag containing pipes, scales, and multiple small plastic baggies with residue that field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
